A Qatar hotel took reservations back from the agencies

This is a structural placeholder for a real case study. Every figure below is illustrative and must be replaced with the client’s actual, approved numbers before publication.

The situation

A mid-size hotel in Qatar was getting most of its bookings through third-party travel agencies — reliable, but expensive per booking, and the hotel had no direct relationship or contact details for the guest until check-in.

What we built

  • A fast, mobile-first booking site with real-time availability and direct payment, so a guest searching the hotel’s name directly could book without an agency in the middle.
  • SEO work aimed at the hotel’s own name and location searches, where agency listings were previously outranking the hotel’s own site.
  • A simple loyalty incentive for guests who booked direct, to make the direct channel genuinely worth choosing.

What changed

[Placeholder — replace with real, client-approved figures] A meaningful share of bookings shifted from agency channels to direct, reducing commission costs per booking and giving the hotel a direct contact list for repeat-guest marketing for the first time.

Why this matters beyond the numbers

Direct bookings are not just cheaper — they are the only bookings where the hotel actually owns the guest relationship afterward. That is the real shift this project made, and it is the reason the client considers it a success independent of any single quarter’s figures.
